We’re looking for an ambitious Store Supervisor to join our David Clulow store on Victoria Street in the heart of Central London. Working closely with the Store Manager and a small, supportive team, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their leadership skills whilst gaining exposure to all aspects of retail management. The Store Manager is passionate about developing talent and is happy to provide training and support for the right candidate.
As a Store Supervisor, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the store, helping to drive sales performance, delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive environment where colleagues can thrive.
What you'll do
• Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store
• Assist with store administration, rota management and operational tasks
• Lead by example on the shop floor, delivering exceptional customer service
• Drive sales performance through outstanding customer conversations and product recommendations
• Support, motivate and develop colleagues within a small team environment
• Help create a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture
• Maintain high standards of store presentation and operations
• Take ownership of the store and step up when needed in the manager's absence
• Develop your leadership skills as a Store Supervisor within a premium retail environment

What we're looking for
• Previous retail or customer-facing sales experience with a passion for delivering results
• A natural ability to build rapport and provide exceptional customer service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A willingness to learn, develop and take on new responsibilities
• Someone who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team
• Confidence supporting and guiding colleagues when required
• An inclusive mindset and ability to work within a diverse environment
• Customer-focused, proactive and solutions-driven
• Optical retail experience and/or previous leadership or management experience would be advantageous, but is not essential
